Play the artwork
- Display images which recall specific sounds/noises
- Moderate a standard VTS session
- Ask your students to work in a small group to brainstorm on the noises of the depicted scene
- Students will individually search on internetthe video which sounds characterise the artwork
- Participants will playing the video together with their classmates at the same moment
Interpret a detail
- Divide your class in groups of 3-4 students.
- Ask them to focus on a single portion of the painting
- Which characters are there? What are they doing? Can you imagine the relationship between them?
- One student per group will explain the class their thoughts on the part of the painting they reflected on. What are the other students thinking? Do they agree with this description or would they interpret a few details differently?
